It was this band that Jimi Hendrix recorded the majority of his most famous songs such as "Purple Haze," "Foxy Lady," "Fire," "Hey Joe," "Little Wing," "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" "All Along the Watchtower" and "Spanish Castle Magic".
Although Jimi Hendrix has been the leader of the band, the other band members (bassist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell) were also two important musicians for the band.
