Jimi Hendrix voted best guitarist in the world according to the website of Gibson

The maker of Gibson guitars elected through your site the top 50 guitarists of all time. The vote occurred between experts, journalists, musicians and surfers site.

In the first position (as always) was Jimi Hendrix. Killed in 1970, Hendrix topped due to his revolutionary way of playing guitar. Jimmy Page and Keith Richards, both second and third place, made the list because of his unique way of playing and influential.

Musicians such as Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Eddie Van Halen and Pete Townsend also enter the list of the best of Gibson. See the full list below:
