Slipknot is a metal band from U.S. formed in Des Moines, Iowa. It consists of nine members, of which they currently: Sid Wilson, Joey Jordison, Donnie Steele, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson and Corey Taylor. The lineup of the band remained unchanged from 1999 to 2010. Each member wears a mask distinct.
The band was formed in 1995 and underwent several line-up changes following the independent release of the album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. in 1996.
