Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal band, formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, formerly of the bands Gypsy's Kiss and Smiler. Originally from London, was one of the leading bands of the musical movement that became known as NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal).
